Run by the PBMA in unison with the Benjamin Stables Track, Harris Park was originally a rodeo arena repurposed for BMX racing. The dual operation of Harris Park and Benjamin Stables made Lee's Summit and Kansas City a hub for organized BMX in the early 1980s.
