The birthplace of organized BMX racing in the Kansas City area. Fast Eddies opened in late summer 1974, marking the beginning of the KC BMX era.
COMPLETE TRACK HISTORY
The first true bmx racesin the Kansas City, Missouri were held at a track "built" on a local motorcycle trail in Grandview, Missouri in the fall 0f 1974. The races were organized and sponsered by Fast Eddie's Bike Shop, also located in Grandview. Safty rules were a bit lax in the early races but all survived!
